MW Builders has been awarded a $499 million Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the construction of company operations facilities by the Savannah District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
In addition to being one of the four contractors selected for this MATOC, MW Builders was awarded the Seed Task Order (first project in the MATOC), which is a $24.5 million Company Operations Facility (COF) located at Fort Hood, TX.
This COF project consists of four separate COF buildings for the 69th ADA Brigade stationed at Fort Hood. The buildings will provide office space for the headquarters of each company as well as equipment storage and assembly areas. The 124,700 sf of new construction consists of pre-engineered metal buildings with masonry exterior and standing seam metal roofs. Each building has a covered concrete hardstand located at the rear for equipment maintenance and troop assembly.
