Project Description
Each of the two hotels was 5-story wood frame construction. MW Builders collaborated with the architect on both of these projects and suggested the re-design of the foundation system to include Geo-Piers. This change resulted in a significant savings to the owner and improved the schedule tremendously. This, coupled with other value-engineering, resulted in a 10% savings from the original budget. The savings on this project were significant thanks to the hard work and close collaboration of MW Builders and the entire project team.
