Client Testimonial
We enjoyed working with MW Builders on this large student housing project with multiple buildings and numerous time-sensitive issues. MW Builders was excellent at coordinating multiple project participants commonly associated with University-led construction. As architects, we enjoy working with general contractors who employ competent, experienced project personnel such as those at MW Builders.

Project Description
MW Builders publicly bid and was successful in winning the contract for the first phase of Student Housing at the Indiana-Purdue campus in Fort Wayne Indiana (IPFW). This project helped transform IPFW from a commuter campus into a more traditional university setting. It consisted of comfortable suite-style units complete with private bathrooms, large closets, and full-size kitchens. A growing trend in student housing -- that has quickly become a standard -- is including more amenities both in the units themselves as well as within the public areas.
The 217,000 SF project included 220 Bedrooms and 568 Beds. Phase 1 (featured here) included seven, 3-story wood frame buildings plus a clubhouse with gathering spaces and resort-style amenities.
