Project Description

MW Builders was honored to be the builder of this legendary project: it opened as the 600th Residence Inn by Marriott.

This project was a 4-story wood frame hotel with 108 guest rooms. Because of the harsh winters in this part of the country -- and the 24 inches of snow on the ground that the team dealt with during construction, MW Builders knew the project needed to be panelized. Panelized wood frame construction also facilities efficiencies in both time and labor, allowing the owners to reduce the construction schedule and begin operating their hotel sooner. This project resulted in $500,000 of shared savings due to efficiencies found during construction by the MW Builders' project team. With the savings returned to the owner -- and the increased revenue from hotel guests starting sooner than planned, the owner couldn't have been happier. Even more important, the quality never suffered. MW Builders' received outstanding feedback from Marriott and the project owners at the conclusion of this project, which is the 4th project MW Builders has completed for this owner.
