This project consists of the renovation of 2,300 SF of existing space within the Scharbauer Student Center (SSC) and a 17,642-SF new building addition that houses a new commercial kitchen and dining facility at Midland College.
The project scope includes rerouting campus utilities and site modifications to delivery areas. The addition is a sprinklered facility with steel construction. The building envelope consists of metal panels with masonry veneer over metal-stud backup and a coal-tar elastomeric roofing system. Additional features include an outdoor dining area with a steel trellis structure and composite synthetic decking. The scope also includes commercial kitchen equipment and custom serving line components.
