FedEx Freight is the market leader in less-than-a-truckload freight services. This particular project consisted of two separate buildings â a service center building and maintenance facility, along with a separate fuel facility â located in Robinson, TX.
The 33,000-SF service center building includes office space housing support and operations personnel, as well as a dock area for sorting and delivery. The 7,280-SF maintenance facility features administration space and break/storage areas for the preventive maintenance function for the vehicles assigned to this facility. The fuel facility consists of fueling lube storage and underground diesel storage tanks that are all covered by a canopy.
Other work included construction of an equipment yard, parking areas, landscaping, irrigation, sidewalks, and an onsite detention pond.
