Midland, TX is a thriving city and growing faster every day. Located in West Texas, Midland has provided many opportunities to the MW Builders team for more than 20 years, including the Airport Terminal, County Jails, schools, and more. On this project, MW Builders partnered with Midland County and Vandergriff Group Architects to realize this new, 110,000-SF special events center. The structure boasts a clear span of 224 feet to house a 60,000-SF exhibit hall with telescopic seating, which can be divided by two operable partitions for simultaneous events such as concerts, trade shows and regional conventions. Amenities include a main show floor with recessed floor boxes containing power, compressed air, water and drains; kitchen and catering areas; meeting and conference rooms; dressing and production rooms; box office, restrooms, and parking. The facility also includes a large outdoor performance stage and a 33,250-SF horse barn.
