This project consists of additions and renovations to seven different elementary schools. MW Builders constructed building additions at six campuses, ranging in size from 6,000 sq ft up to 14,000 sq ft. The additions contain classrooms, mechanical rooms, restrooms, and offices. Structural systems, roofing, mechanical and electrical systems and finishes were carefully selected to complement the existing facilities while economically maintaining the available budget.
MW Builders worked carefully with Vandergriff Group Architects to design to the available budget without sacrificing necessary quality or functionality. As testament to the effectiveness of our partnership, upon completion of the design MW Builders obtained bids from subcontractors totaling within $6,700 of MISD's available construction budget for new facilities, with a variance of less than -0.05%.
