Park Place East Apartments is the last phase of luxury, multifamily development that is part of the larger walkable community with multiple dining options, designer boutiques, entertainment venues, and health-beauty services in Leawood, KS. The four-story apartment building has 81 oversized units and includes 120,000 SF of wood-framed construction wrapped around a 5-story, 80,000-SF precast parking garage with a tornado shelter on the ground floor.
The project also had an extensive site package which included building a new 115th Place street, installing a “green necklace” of oversized trees around the 6-acre site, creating a new turn-lane from Town Center Drive, and extensive hardscaping with pavers, raingardens, and copper fountains.
